Throwback to last November when I got to doll up this Hmong beauty, Maa Vue!!!! Maa has the most angelic voice in the Hmong music industry! Her music is so soothing and I was an instant fan when I first heard her songs. She stopped by during the North Carolina Hmong New Year to perform during the celebrations and was doing a promotional video and photo shoot with my talented friends, Houa Vang Photography and Linda Vang Photography. I gladly accepted when they asked me to do Maa's makeup!!!
I kept it soft glam using airbrush makeup to go with her soft features and elegant sparkly dress! My talented hairstylist, Lizzy Rivera, gave her some voluminous soft curls. We were both enjoyed seeing her reaction when she stepped in front of the mirror for the final reveal!
Can you believe it? Another year has flown by! And another Hmong New Year is almost here; to celebrate our heritage, culture and beautiful people. Happy Hmong New Year all around the globe!
