Meet the photographers - Thay + Lisa - Our Story
He's the techie gadget guy who was born with a natural understanding for numbers and technical stuff. I'm the creative one who loves chatting and learning about people and their stories. Without each other, we could not be here today. We are a husband and wife powerhouse photography team. We do it all - the planning, the set building, the photography, the post production, the customer relations and the other behind the scenes stuff.
We couldn't have done it without the 20 years of experience from our start-up, mall based photography storefront, Blue Kiss Studio - which was born with a simple idea. We wanted to be our own boss and create a new photo taking trend for the younger generation. It was a fast paced photography concept so anyone can walk-in and out with casual, "come as you are" fun pictures. Little did we know, this crazy "in the moment" trend was a big hit for the central part of Charlotte, North Carolina and it has opened huge doors of opportunities for us in venturing out with franchising the concept through five other nationwide locations.
Whenever we look back to those fresh out of college days, we conclude that we were two young, crazy, unstoppable entrepreneurs with big dreams. Today, we are still big dreamers and continue to photograph the beautiful faces and life moments of our clients, along with traveling the world to photograph some of the most breath taking destination weddings, enchanting love stories, creative styled shoots, priceless life celebrations and family vacations.

If you want truly dedicated photographers to capture your special day - my husband and I are the team who will be with you from start to finish! I love getting up close and personal with details while Thay is what I call a "ninja shooter" with those cocktail hour candid shots and cinematic full frame captures. Our style is a mix of journalistic "moment" shots, and organized fun formals. Our packages start at $3500 with options to customize exactly what you want. We also love destination weddings.
Engagement Session
Just the two of you expressing your love story. These are some of my favorite sessions to document. Not only do I get to meet and learn about my couple's love story, but I also get to help them relive the memories. This is also an awesome way to break the ice with the camera so that "shy" couples get more comfortable and ready for wedding day paparazzi.
Bridal Session
Bridal gowns and all things pretty inspires me! From the details of the dress, to the shoes, the jewelry, the ring, the hair and makeup, and how it all makes you feel - these are the little details that express who you are. My bridal imagery style is classic elegance with a modern fashion feel. I want to take breath-taking pictures of you that will make you fall in love with your bridal experience all over again.
Motherhood Maternity
The day we found out we were expecting was one of our happiest days. Maternity sessions are very special to have and photograph, it's soft, intimate and a journey that is full of love and excitement. The best time for these sessions are really anytime, but mostly when the soon-to-be Mommy is showing more of her bump and feeling physically strong, flexible and mobile for a little stretch for what we call "picture taking exercise."
Family & Children
As my little family grows, I learn to value more of what a family portrait represents and how much time and effort it takes to even plan out a well thought successful session. I love to blend images of natural, comfortable poses and candids - it's the real expressions of how a family and children really are! Priceless is what I'd like to be reminded of when I look at any family photo.
